Question Answer
I haven't heard of GO Healthy before. When did it start? GO Healthy was founded in New Zealand in 2008 by three friends wanting to provide quality dietary supplements. GO Healthy is now the #1 premium supplement brand in New Zealand in Pharmacy and we’re constantly asking, “What else?” and “What next?”. We are excited to be now offering GO Healthy products in Australia, Korea,  Singapore and Vietnam.
Where are GO Healthy products made? All GO Healthy dietary supplement products are made or packed in our very own production facility in Auckland, New Zealand. As a New Zealand company operating in an international market, we source ingredients from New Zealand and around the world. We test in accordance with the regulatory requirements for each market using independent New Zealand certified laboratories. Our production facility is audited and certified by MPI, Medsafe (on behalf of TGA) and FDA. This gives GO Healthy - and you - confidence in our quality company-controlled New Zealand production processes.
All GO Healthy honey is sourced in New Zealand. GO Healthy is a proud member of the UMF Association.
Where does GO Healthy source its ingredients? At GO Healthy, we aim to provide quality supplements, so we selectively source quality ingredients from New Zealand and around the world. Our products are proudly formulated by our team in New Zealand.
Why would I take a dietary supplement? Vitamins and minerals are supplementary to and not a replacement for a balanced diet. In today's busy world, however, there are times when nutrients in your diet may be lacking due to increased need or perhaps poor lifestyle choices.  If in doubt, consult your healthcare professional.
Are our products gluten free? All GO Healthy products have no added gluten. However, we don’t test ingredients or our products for gluten (and don’t state Gluten Free on the label).
Are our products dairy free? All products that contain dairy or other allergens will state this on the label.
What are our VegeCaps made from? For many of our dietary supplement products, we use VegeCaps made from vegetable cellulose, which does not contain animal products such as gelatine. VegeCaps are easily digested once swallowed, allowing absorption of ingredients. VegeCaps are suitable for vegetarians.
The individual dietary supplement product label and ingredients list will state whether VegeCaps are used.
Are all your products 1-A-DAY? GO Healthy aims to provide dietary supplements in a convenient 1-A-Day dose. Due to the strength of the daily dosage for some of our products, more than one dose may sometimes be required, as directed.
Why can't I buy GO Healthy in supermarkets? GO Healthy provides quality supplements in high strength formulations. We only sell through Pharmacies and Health Stores, so you can always get the advice of a Healthcare Professional if you need it.
What colourants do you use?    In some of our products we currently use colouring substances such as red, blue and yellow colours; we use iron oxide and titanium dioxide; and we also use caramel, turmeric, and beetroot.
Research has shown that these synthetic colours are safe to consume. They don’t cause adverse effects even when consumed in large amounts. However, GO Healthy is in the process of removing unnecessary colours from our formulation which will be replaced with natural colourants.
What flavours do GO Healthy  use? We don’t use any artificial flavour in our GO Healthy products.
Do GO Healthy use preservatives? We don’t use any artificial preservatives in our GO Healthy Products.
My capsules used to be white and now they are a different colour, is this normal? GO Healthy is making a change! We have refreshed our look with a packaging update, and we are changing our capsule shell colour from white to clear. We have done this by removing unnecessary colours, and now you can see what’s inside your capsule – transparency of our quality ingredients.
Can I take 2 capsules instead of the one recommended on the label? Always read the label and use as directed. Consult your healthcare professional if you have any health conditions or concerns.
Can I take them if they have expired? We do not recommend you take supplements past their expiry date.
Where is the gelatine sourced from for the SoftGels, and is it halal?   The gelatin is from bovine origin and is from hide (skin). It is not halal certified for the NZ market.
Do I need to refrigerate my probiotics? You don’t need to keep the GO Healthy Probiotics in the fridge, but you can.
The probiotics are shelf stable if unopened, but given the nature of what they are, once they are opened and time ticks by, some of the contents will naturally deteriorate. Keeping them in the fridge may help keep the content viable for longer.
Is this product safe to give to my child? Always read the label and use as directed. If there is no dosage recommendation for children, please consult your healthcare professional for advice.
What is the age of adult for dosage instructions on the GO Healthy supplements? The adult age is from 18yrs. Under 18yrs and for children, please consult your healthcare professional.
