Seasonal Allergens
Kerry Locatelli, BNAT
Spring is here, and so are seasonal allergens.
Seasonal allergens are found in the environment and can trigger sneezing, nasal congestion or a runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, breathing difficulties and even fatigue.
Along with avoiding allergen exposure as much as possible, there are some things you can do to support your health and wellbeing during this time:
- Stay hydrated - this can support your mucus membranes to maintain their normal structure and function.
- Maintain a healthy diet - full of vegetables, fruit and omega 3 fatty acids from fresh fatty fish to support a normal, healthy immune response
- Healthy stress management- stress can affect your health and wellbeing and can make the allergen reaction more pronounced. Managing healthy stress levels can include practices like yoga, meditation, or deep-breathing exercises.
At GO Healthy, we have GO ALLERGY SUPPORT and GO BREATHE that can provide health support during the allergen season.
GO ALLERGY SUPPORT is a complex formula with ingredients including Horseradish, Odourless Garlic, Histidine and Quercetin to support the body’s response to allergens and may also support clear nasal passages.
GO BREATHE contains some key ingredients to support healthy lung function. Adhatoda and Elecampane support respiratory tract health and healthy mucous production; Quercetin and Bromelain support the body’s response to allergens; and Marshmallow soothes mucous membranes. The combination of ingredients supports healthy lung tissue and normal healthy breathing.
